HOW TO BANISH ANXIETY & WORRY
Monday June 23 at 1 PM
Your 60,000 daily thoughts are extremely powerful.
They can create anxiety or optimism, well-being or
depression, support you or sabotage you.
Put simply, what you think about, you bring about.
Good news! It’s never too late to retrain your brain to
take charge of your brain’s power grid.
Join Counselor Eileen Colianni to learn how.

ORTHO BIONOMY – Gentle Massage
Thursday, June 26
Ortho bionomy is an educational system of
working with the autonomic reflexes of the body to
bring about balance. The techniques used are gentle
and non-forceful; they are based on osteopathic
principles that when the body is in a position of
comfort it can stimulate the self corrective capacity
within us. We are reeducating the body to find a
place of comfort.
Unlike some other massage techniques, it does not
require you to remove your clothing.
Given by:
Lynn Wray RN & Renee Stevenson RN
Society of Ortho Bionomy International
30 minute sessions starting 12:30 pm
$25 per session, 8 sessions available

Somatics Class
Thursdays at 10:30 am
Most chronic pain, joint degeneration, and recurring injuries are caused by the way we use our bodies – the way we sit, stand, and move throughout our lives. And our nervous system is responsible for telling us how to use our bodies. Our nervous system tells us which muscles to contract, when to release them, and how to hold our bodies when we’re just sitting or standing still. Clinical Somatics engages the nervous system in an active learning process that consists of very slow, focused, conscious movements. The movement techniques used in Clinical Somatics teaches the nervous system how to release chronic muscle tension and stand and move in natural, efficient ways so that you aren’t putting yourself in pain or doing damage to your body.
**This class requires a yoga matt and the ability to get up and down from the floor without assistance.
