WELCOME ABOARD THE NEW RCAC TWIN-BORO VAN SERVICE

Our new Twin-Boro Van service is available to residents who are 60 years of age or older and live in the boroughs of Oakmont or Verona, and the Verona Hilltop area.  In partnership with ACCESS, current and new RCAC van riders will enjoy the following benefits beginning April 1, 2026:

  • A new 12-passenger van which provides wheelchair accessibility.
  • Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm point-to-point service throughout Oakmont and Verona boroughs, and the Verona Hilltop area. (The Twin-Boro Van will be unable to accommodate trips outside of this area.)
  • A direct phone number to schedule your Twin-Boro Van trips once new participants have registered for the Twin-Boro Van service.
  • A cashless system where one-way fares have been reduced to only $1.
  • Drivers who will assist with packages or mobility issues.

Here’s how to sign-up to become a Twin-Boro Van rider.

If you are 60 to 64 years of age, there are two different ways for first-time sign up:

  1. Stop by during the week at Riverview Community Action Corporation, 501 Second Street at the Corner of Delaware Avenue in Oakmont. (Where you can also pick up a first-time Welcome Packet which provides you with five free fitness classes and five free noontime lunches).
  2. Call RCAC at 412-828-1062 during the week.

If you are 65 years of age or older, there are three different ways for first-time sign-up:

  1. Stop by during the week at Riverview Community Action Corporation, 501 Second Street at the Corner of Delaware Avenue in Oakmont. (Where you can also pick up a first-time Welcome Packet which provides you with five free fitness classes and five free noontime lunches).
  2. Call RCAC at 412-828-1062 during the week.
  3. Complete an online application directly through ACCESS at

RCAC is more than a local van service.

In addition to transportation for the twin boroughs, RCAC also offers an array of fitness classes, educational speakers, wellness events, shopping, and cultural trips, along with wonderful offsite Lunch with Friends and Dinner with Friends social events.

Our Center is a great place for socializing, having fun, and remaining healthy and fit, and you can conveniently ride our Twin-Boro Van to visit us and enjoy what we have to offer.
